YOUR DAY-TO-DAY    

 BUSINESS OPERATIONS

  • Develop store business plan to build top line sales, including marketing and promotional strategies that will drive traffic to the store and grow the customer base, with particular emphasis placed on building the local market
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of industry and local market trends to determine strategic opportunities to maximize sales within the market
  • Embrace technology to enhance customer experience; ensure team has working knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software
  • Establish a culture of productivity and accountability through clear expectations, role modeling, and instilling a strong focus on KPI achievement
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners in HR, Planning, and Operations to achieve store/region

BRAND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrate sales leadership by taking an active role on the selling floor to promote clientele development
  • Act as a brand ambassador reflective of our company values; partners with the Visual Merchandising Manager and District Manager to execute an engaging visual experience
  • Lead and support the store team to elevate every aspect of the store experience through omni channel capabilities, merchandising, and display to create a compelling atmosphere
  • Cultivate a warm and welcoming environment by being highly focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences that are engaging, efficient, and personable

LEADERSHIP + TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Build a succession plan for engaging and retaining a diverse team to fuel internal growth and mobility
  • Actively recruits and interviews to build an external network of talent to add different perspectives and experience to the team
  • Inspire team through empowerment, creativity, empathy; tailor communication to the individual and leverage their strengths
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that celebrates achievements while promoting accountability and individual/team contribution 

COMMUNICATION + RELATIONSHIPS

  • Foster a culture of strong communication and teamwork to ensure a seamless balance between customer engagement, operational tasks, and visual priorities; stays current and follows through to ensure important company information reaches all levels of the team; link mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work
  • Embrace a culture of development by investing time with direct reports; provide timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR    

  • Management experience in a retail/hospitality service environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, POS, and laptop/handheld systems
  • Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs (i.e., on the sales floor, operations, etc.)
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High School Graduate or equivalent 
  • Physical requirements include ability to be mobile and walking on the sales floor for extended period of time; climb a ladder; lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores
